Coach Rolando Lamb is a basketball nut! He has experience playing major college and professional basketball (Seattle Supersonics, 1985 draft) and is a world-class coach and motivator of young men. He and his wife, Angie, have four children and have been married for 21 years. He is the founder of The Making of Champions—a character based organization that is dedicated to providing educational and personal growth resources that teaches people how to win in life. Coach Lamb will assume the head coaching responsibilities this year as he preaches his no-nonsense, don’t ever get intimidated, always be mentally strong style of basketball. He’s been known to say “Always play with heart, do your part, right from the start” about a million times!

Retired after 10 years in the NFL, Michael Haynes continues in his second year with the Saints as assistant head coach. Mike is known for playing professionally for the Atlanta Falcons and New Orleans Saints. He insists, without a doubt, that his favorite sport is and always has been basketball. Mike loves kids, and they love him. He and his wife, Cookie, have 3 daughters and have been married for 10 years.

Coach Chuck Ramsey loves kids. He and his wife, Candace, are raising 6 active ones. He has served in youth ministry for more than 10 years as a motivational speaker speaking to thousands of kids across the US in Junior High and High School assemblies. He speaks a language kids understand. His desire is to make a positive impact on the next generation and believes that youth athletics is the most powerful tool to make that kind of impact. He played high school basketball in Virginia and has been involved coaching kids for nearly 15 years in basketball, football, baseball, cross country, and track. He currently competes as a member of the Atlanta Track Club and gladly wears the label “Old School” for his love of good solid defense, 110% hustle, and appreciation of good, honest, unselfish teamwork.
